Yeah, Dual-Tile Encoding. Essentially, it can half the space needed, because (instead of encoding one byte per letter) it encodes pairs of letters. You could then have your tileset already optimized for pairs of letters, or you could have a routine that unpacked the pairs into individual letters. Either way, it would take a lot more work to hack in the new routines to do this new functionality.

I'm just making a suggestion here, but maybe since DTE will be needed (or dictionary compression)is is the case, maybe the flavor text could be added a sort of bonus side documentation and sorted by number, rarity company and franchise since it's not really essential to the core gameplay.
Being part of a translation group myself, I understand very well when tech issues get in the way.

Hi people. I would like to know what ips patcher is recommended to apply the patch, also what kind of rom is neccesary...i tried with a clean one using lunar isp and ipswin and nothing happened to the rom.

I have waited years to see this game finally translated, thanks to everyone involved, you are great Blush

I think I would have said LunarIPS.

Hi!
Im playing this game (I love it so much). I have a orignal NGPC with SNK vs Capcom Match of the Millenium Shy
So, in Krizalid card are a translate error... Text dont show correct ability.
For now its the only error that i read.
Do you correct this, Raohmaru?

Latest version of the patch running on NeoPop 0.71 shows Krizalid's ability with no errors:

It seems an emulator error rather than a problem with the ROM.
Did you apply the English patch prior to apply my patch?
