Thor, if you're interested in this, you should email me, too.

Anymore information on the Lynx Flashmasta? I'm not really interested in the Lynx myself, but it's still cool to see...

Do you have any plans to make Flashmastas for other systems like the Wonderswan? Or would you prefer to get SD card support sorted first before moving on to other projects?

I have already suggested this. WonderSwan doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's a great handheld with an impressive game library and I'd love for it to get a proper, modern flash device.

Ideally, with support for WonderWitch as well, but I'm not kidding myself. It's really a shame that every other system gets a flash cartridge, while WonderSwan gets treated like some extremely obscure piece of hardware. We're not talking about Casio Loopy here. It was a fairly successful console, with three major hardware revisions [mono, color, crystal].

WonderWitch games rely on the BIOS that only is present on the WW carts. So getting WW games to run on a new flash cart would require RE:ing and cloning the BIOS (huge amount of work), or ripping the BIOS from a WW cart and getting it to work on your flash cart (probably a fair amount of work, and legally questionable).

That's pretty much why I said I'm not kidding myself when it comes to WonderWitch support. I'd be happy to see any kind of modern flash device for WonderSwan. WonderWitch is expensive and supports only homebrew made with WonderWitch tools, and WonderMagic, the only flash device ever made, is isanely hard to obtain, and expensive. Not only that, the software is outdated and it's a pain to get it to work properly on modern machines.

Krikzz and Neo aren't interested, so it's up to someone else to have a go at it.

I would really like to make a Flashmasta WS, but it's low on the priority scale at the moment. SD support for Lynx and NGPC are much higher, as are some other projects (and somehow real life always takes it toll). Cracking the WonderSwan flash cart problem would be a fun challenge. I hope I get to it before someone else beats me, but we'll see.

After watching the tutorial video, showing how to put two games on one cartridge, I remembered there was no way of doing this with the switchless model.

Then I remembered Flavor's NGPC multi-ROM menu, or rather PocketSend, which would automatically compile a multi-ROM image using said menu. Is there a chance of integrating this feature into the Flashmasta client?

This has been something that's been on the list of things to look at, but the priority hasn't been as high as the other hardware projects.

There is a way to use the older MultiROM menu without PocketSend, but it doesn't seem to work on the Flashmasta cart. I thought I knew why, but when I tried a quick fix, it didn't help.

I have been thinking about releasing the source code to the NeoLinkmasta Flashmasta client. That way, people could attempt something like this on their own. Is anyone out there interested in hacking on the NeoLinkmasta.exe code?

I used PocketSend 2.5 to generate a ROM image with two commercial games in it. You can just build one using the "Menu -> File" option, but it doesn't seem to be working. The menu boots, you get the choice of two games, but when you run one, you get the Lik-Sang logo and then the console turns off. I tried it under NeoPOP, but the result is mostly the same. It just hangs on the loading screen.
