Personal recommendation on screen installation
#1
I believe this was mentioned in the V1 install guide, but is missing from the V2.
On page 6 of 20 you show 2 shots of the front case.
In the bottom left of the first photo you can see a raised wall inside the cut out area. Its not too tall, but the end is raised higher than the rest of the wall.
In the second photo on the same page, you can see that wall better it is just outside the opening for the screen, and extends around 2 sides in an L shape. Both ends and the corner of the wall are all raised up higher than the wall itself.
You should take a sharpened blade and cut this out to make if flush with the rest of the case front. It will remove any chance of pressure from that wall from affecting the LCD.
You can actually see the wall removed in this shot from the PiTendo Build of the V1.
I actually made a small chisel by sharpening the blade an old flat head screwdriver. That allowed me to run around that edge getting down to the same level as the rest of the front wall.

Yes. This is very good to mention in the guide. On some builds I have taken this down, and on others I have not. I actually think it's better to take it down, so it should be included in the guide.

If you don't take it off, you may have no problem. However, in some cases it will cause uneven stress on the LCD, so it is probably better just to always take it off.

Okay, I have edited the manual to reflect this information. Thanks!
