A previous thread seems to have had the same issue.
I was able to upload a backup just fine but when I tried again both of my PC's read the Flash Masta as "USB Device". I am unable to use the software and am unsure on how to fix this. I have tried three different cables on over ten different USB ports so I don't believe that is the issue.

Please let me know of any solutions that may be avaailable as i'm dying to explore this library! Thanks!
Hey Thefreeman!

Do you have any way to show us the product/device ID and vendor/manufacturer ID (AKA VID and PID) of the "USB Device?"

This link (just grabbed from Google) shows how to get them.
https://kb.synology.com/en-in/DSM/tutori...USB_device

It somewhat sounds like the cart went in to DFU mode and it's waiting for a new firmware.

You can also open a "SUPPORT" request to https://www.flashmasta.com/about/contact/ if you get some screenshots or whatever.

I was able to locate the ID

I'm sorry about the slow reply. I don't think I got a notification that you replied. I don't know why.

The screenshot you posted indicates that the USB Device is in Atmel DFU mode, which means it's waiting for a firmware to be applied. I don't know why it would act that way or what could have "reset" it.

Can you go to https://www.flashmasta.com/about/contact/ and open a SUPPORT ticket. You can copy/paste some of the text from here or just the URL of this forum post. Then just ask for the proper firmware update package.
