RE: Troubleshooting WiFi access - Bedwyr - 04-21-2019 Yep. The Canakit is 2.4 only and keeps trying to connect to the 5.0 band (or the router is going "wait, whut?"). It's not really really really worth it to separate the bands permanently, so I think I'll leave things as-is and wait for a new adapter to arrive that can handle this better. Thanks. The funny thing is - I'm preparing myself for becoming a Cisco certified network engineer. But I guess that my knowledge is not enough yet. Maybe I will need some help.
