Do you have a picture of the defects?
Based on defects I have seen on my side, I think there are 3 molds used the GBA shells:
- One have a defective extractor on the front shell, under the screen. On the back shell there is a unpolish part near one of the screw passage.
- Another one have a huge problem on the front shell near start/select.
- The last one have a miss alignment on the accessories parts.
I always buy shells from China, you can source each case for less than 7 USD shipped, the only problem is the time it take to arrive...

"Clear" case I have received have the same defects as picture 2 and 3.
I never had defects like picture 1 and 4.
