RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - NiN^_^NiN - 05-02-2012 Thank you jrronimo I've been busy and haven't been able to get online really and not much has happened with this project since I last posted. I can say that this will be given to her in about 4 weeks time as she will be coming down here so I need to make the finishing touches and probably redo the box. I did end up loading the game onto a SD card so there is always a backup of the original game when it's used as a flash cart I also loaded up the Linker software on there as well. It's getting close I will keep everyone updated RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - Flavor - 05-02-2012 Thanks for the update, NiN^_^NiN. I was beginning to get worried that the project was abandoned. I'm glad to see you're still working on it and it's almost ready to gift. RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - NiN^_^NiN - 05-09-2012 Still working on it I managed to get some more of it done today. I wasn't happy with the box I first made (was cut incorrectly the first time) so I have done another which looks much nicer. I think we can all agree this new box is much better. I quickly made the divider to hold the game and hide the linker etc I think it looks too plain so I will have to come up with some artwork for the divider now but this box fits together nicer and tighter it's perfect so it's just the divider left and if I will do a booklet or a note for inside not sure which yet still have to work out what I will say. RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - Flavor - 05-09-2012 Wow, that is coming along very nicely. Thumbs up! RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - NiN^_^NiN - 05-27-2012 I didn't get a chance to change the divider as she's now down here with me so I am planning to give it to her in the next few days wish me luck i'll keep you updated. RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - Flavor - 06-01-2012 I see that you got blogged about, too. Definitely good luck, NiN! http://www.substance-tv.com/how-to-ask-out-a-girl-neo-geo-pocket-style/ RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - NiN^_^NiN - 06-03-2012 First off I would like to thank you Flavor for helping me with the Hardware and having the cart ready for me it was a huge help So I gave it to her a few days ago and she was very excited and loved everything about it. I lent her my ngpc to be able to play it. She loved how much work I put into it, and thought it was so cute and sweet. She said yes to going out with me and we had a fantastic time. We couldn't be happier right now I love this girl so much I'm glad I could share my project with you all and I hope you enjoyed the journey as much as I did. Thank you everyone for your support and kind words RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - Wiisel - 06-03-2012 Congratulations NiN^_^NiN and thank you for sharing this with everyone. RE: Custom NGPC Game Hack - AKA my geeky way to ask someone out! - NiN^_^NiN - 12-01-2014 Hey all I know it's been a while since I've been back, there's been a lot going on. I just thought I'd give an update to you all. I am now engaged to the beautiful woman I gave the Love Drop Pocket game to; we will be married hopefully next year I would also like to thank Flavor again for all his help with the hardware and getting it to me in such a short time span. I loved sharing this with you all and I hope everyone continues to enjoy their gaming. |
