Freeze on shutdown. - Mavinson - 02-26-2018 once in every 3 shutdowns my screen freezes and says this. then i am forced to pull out the batteries. [img][/img] RE: Freeze on shutdown. - Flavor - 02-27-2018 This is rather curious. I guess we have to figure out what is different about your setup. Are you using an SD image that we provide? Have you modified it in any way? RE: Freeze on shutdown. - hardy - 03-02-2018 I've got a same problem. Just wrote the image to SD card and didn't modify anything. Sorry for my bad english. RE: Freeze on shutdown. - Flavor - 03-02-2018 Are you guys using Freeplay Zero or Freeplay CM3? RE: Freeze on shutdown. - hardy - 03-02-2018 I'm using Freeplay CM3. RE: Freeze on shutdown. - Flavor - 03-03-2018 hardy, could you try this? Pop the SD out, and pop it into your computer. It should show up as a drive called 'boot'. Download this file https://github.com/TheFlav/Freeplay-Support/raw/master/waveshare32b-fp.dtbo and place it in the boot drive under the /overlays/ directory. There should already be a file there called waveshare32b.dtbo so after the download, you should have both of these waveshare32b.dtbo waveshare32b-fp.dtbo Then, in the root of that boot drive, double-click on the config.txt file to edit it. Change this line dtoverlay=waveshare32b,speed=80000000,fps=60,rotate=270 to be dtoverlay=waveshare32b-fp,speed=80000000,fps=60,rotate=270 Please let me know if that helps at all. RE: Freeze on shutdown - hardy - 03-03-2018 Many thanks for the prompt reply. I have done all the thing you ask, but it didn't work. My screen's still freeze on shutdown while power led's turned off. I have to turn off the power switch to shutdown the screen. Is it normal ? Just like Mavinson said, it happen every 2-3 shutdowns. Is it normal ?I think it's not normal, but what do you mean by "have to turn off the power switch?" Does your power switch spring back like a Nintendo DS or does it go on/off like a GBA? It should be like a DS. |
