I can get you some information about the power switch if you think it broke, but I have never heard of one that would slide properly and did not work. We also test each Freeplay CM3 before shipping them, and of course we would use the power switch in the test.

Was your system running before and now isn't working properly?

Have you looked at https://www.freeplaytech.com/support/troubleshooting/ yet?

Unfortunately I did not test it before I built it together. I forgot that out of anticipation.

I think a data sheet from switch could help, then I can measure it correctly.

I Made the Power Test fromm the Troubleshooting Guide, Bit ist didnt helped.

I would wonder if your LCD ribbon cable is fully connected and locked into place.
I also still wonder about the SD card image.

Is there insulation between your speaker and the circuit board?

The switch has 4 "pins" on it.  The 2 middle pins are the same.  Let us call them the common connection.

When the switch slides, it changes where it connects this common.  In one position, it connects the common to the left pin.  In the other position, it connects common to the right.

Code:
Position 1             Position 2
|----||    |           |    ||----|

Do you have a multimeter to check voltage?  When the switch is at rest, the middle/common of the switch should be close to 0v.  When you push the switch, the middle/common of the switch should become the same voltage as the battery (somewhere around 3.7v).

Here's another test.
Unplug all batteries and USB.  Tap the power button for 1 second and then release it.  Then watch the front GBA LED while you plug in power to the microUSB charging port.  Does the LED flash red very quickly?

Do you have HDMI to plug in?  If so, it can greatly help the debugging process if there is a problem with the built-in LCD.

That is a first. I have not heard of a switch that wasn't working when it looked perfectly good. We have seen where someone broke the plastic pin off of their switch before.

Could you make a video showing how you are bridging the pins?

Also, if you need a replacement switch, we would like to talk about how to get one to you.  Could you please go to https://www.freeplaytech.com/contact/ and create a SUPPORT request.  You can even copy/paste the text from your messages here, so you don't need to type anything new.

Ist ist possible to become the Type of the Switch?
Then I could order a new one in my country and then I could fix it faster. I'm fromm Germany and the CM3 kit was over two weeks at customs.
A Video is mit possible because i only have two hands.
But Here is a picture.

Actually, from that photo, we can see that the switch is damaged. I think we can help you find a replacement switch that you can order from Germany. Please open the support ticket, so we can keep track of it, and I will look up some information for you.
