Freeplay zero button and keyboard not working

This is the first time I build the freeplay zero, but it didnt go well, I have already modified my case, but when I test it, all buttons is not working except power button. Therefore I connected the keyboard, the keyboard didn't work too. And then I detached the zero from the board and tested it with hdmi, the keyboard it worked. And I tested with another zero it didn't work too. Both of them are raspberry pi zero wh.

Also, be sure that you are using the SD image we provide. Other images will not work properly without modification.
How did you plug in the keyboard when using the Freeplay Zero?

You said, "I detached the zero from the board and tested it with hdmi, the keyboard it worked." Then, with it powered off and everything still connected, could you plug it to the Freeplay Zero board? Then try to boot it again.

When you plug in USB devices, you must be sure to only plug them to the Raspberry Pi port labeled "USB." The Pi also has a "Power In" port. The Freeplay Zero only has a power input port.
