Flashmasta Not Working
#1
Hello I purchased a Flashmasta cart and Ive been having an issue with it working properly, I'm having the same issue another user was having; the games either wont load at all, or the BIOs setup screen will boot making me set the time and date etc. Ive tried multiple roms, flashing roms to different slots, there doesnt seem to be a clear solution. I tried contacting support off the website but it always says that there was an error and my message was not sent, Ive tried to use that form of contact multiple times and nothing. Would it be possible to exchange the circuit board or get a refund?

Hey qwertypwn69!

Did you try to contact us using https://www.flashmasta.com/about/contact/
I just tested it myself, and it seemed to work. Could you try it again and let me know what error you get if it fails again?

If we can determine that there's a problem with the cartridge, we would definitely get you a working one.

Do you have any mods to your NGPC (frontlight/backlight/etc)? What batteries do you use?

Thank you for getting back to me. I have no mods for my Neo Geo Pocket Color, it was imported from Japan, not sure if that is causing an issue. As for batteries I use Eneloop AAs and Duracell 2032.
I also attached the error I receive when submitting a message.

Can you try (or have you tried) to boot on another cartridge ?
The unit may also have oxidized contacts.

Yes, I have a cartridge of Hana-Bi, and it hasn't given me any issues. Boots every time I insert the cart.

First of all, I can't figure out why you can't use the support inquiry page on our website. That is troubling, especially if others can't reach us.
Loïc, could you try it (https://www.flashmasta.com/about/contact/)?
