I heard about this a year ago. Big thing. When people started to buy super cheap knockoffs from China, that actually look original to the eye. I believe in "you get what you pay for" when it comes to technology.
I even heard people use that phrase in some review videos for the Freeplay CM3, as they justify the very high price as there is nothing remotely comparable with it in the market. Which is true, other customized handheld projects although quite interesting, not at the same level.
