When the dongle is plugged on the device, does the dongle blink or just stay steady?
If it is always on from the very time you plugged it, that could just be the sign of a false contact between the compute module and its socket.

Quote:Remove the Raspberry Pi Compute Module from the circuit board. Look at the contacts where it inserts into the socket. See if you can tell anything odd. Maybe wipe it with isopropyl alcohol if you have some. Insert the Compute Module back into the Freeplay CM3. Does this change anything?
