This is really cool. What we did for Cardfighters 2 was to build a tool that would extract these (like to .CSV) and also insert translated versions (from .CSV).

The trick is to also find the pointer table and properly modify that. This way, you can change the length of the strings, too.

That's what I'm looking for. As the game is 'small', and the save patch implies to double the rom size, there will be no space problem.

I've built an extract tool (actualy, its output is what I posted). I'll do the insert tool later, If I'm able to extract all the text parts.

I've not yet succeded to find the method used to locate/calculate text addresses. I know there's a function that handle text output. It can be called multiple time for one talking session.

Now I'm looking for the item description text.

What's fun, is that google trad is total nonsens when dealing with more than single word text.
