Just so it doesn't look like this issue was left unresolved, I wanted to mention that we did get iwantgames cartridge replaced. He emailed to say that it's working well now.

Hi everyone! I'm Jen, I saw the video of Ed Mandy testing out a flash cart for Wonderswan Color, and I just got my Wonderswan color. I'd be interested to know when these carts will be available, since I'm guessing I'm too late to be an early adopter or tester.

This looks like a great idea, since there's a lot of games that can't be played because they are in Japanese. I think as long as you own the cart, using the rom in a translated patch format is fine. Smile And homebrew would add a lot more functionality to this neat little game system. I'm excited to own one, excited to be collecting the games and now also excited for the homebrew community. Thank you!

Hey Jen! Welcome!

Actually, you came at just about the right time. We have a new batch about 99% ready. I plan to be publicizing that this week. So far, I've had a bunch of other things pop up, because I was out of town all last week.

If you want me to send you an email about it (with PayPal link), send me a private message here or use the contact form on the flashmasta.com website.

FYI, I'm finally working on adding the WS Flash Masta cart as a product to the FlashMasta.com website. As of writing this, there are now units for sale at:

Hi, so this new version will have the same issues explained by an user on page 8, with a small but serious amount of games not working at all, and another amount of games not saving? Will this be fixed down the road?

I feel like this should be explained more on the website order page, as people might be expecting near full compatibility.

Chael, you are correct that this version will have all the same issues as the previous cartridge. When I get to my desk, I will try to point this out better in the purchase page.

I'm sorry if this wasn't clear. It was not intentionally hidden. I don't want anyone to be surprised about any deficiencies here.
