Keyboard support in emulation station
#1
Hi I would just like to talk about a little hiccup I had while building my Freeplay Zero kit. Before I actually started building, I downloaded the SD card image onto the Pi Zero and connected it to my television so I can setup Wifi, SSH, etc. This would make it ready for me to make changes and copy roms over wifi. However it looks that there was no keyboard support in emulation station so there was no way of getting to the configuration. I tried two keyboards I had lying around. Also tried an Xbox 360 controller.

I had to put together the kit and navigate using the GBA controls to set this up. Anyway, it would be nice if future versions of the image had the keyboard setup in emulations station.

Hey lion2! This is quite odd. I will have to look into it. I thought that it was set up. Thanks for the tip.

It only worked when I was in the retropi-setup so I was able to type my wifi password, just couldn't use it while emulation station was on.

That makes sense. I'll try to fix that. Thanks.

I have added the pre-configured keyboard support into EmulationStation. There is now a new SD image available.

Thanks for the tip, Lion2!
