So I get the whole set up done and finished yesterday, However I go to map all the buttons and the left trigger does not map. I thought it did not set properly so I took it back apart and tried pushing it down with out the "L" button, No go as well. Any one else have the same issue? I am thinking its the GPIO pins that are not set properly but I cant find that out till I get the jig I ordered to make sure, ( i pressed mine in way before I got the FP0 kit)

So are you using a Pi you soldered or one that was Press-fit or hammered?
It could definitely be a solder problem. Could you post (or email) a couple pics of the Pi and the attached pins?
We could get you a couple more tests to try. All the buttons should’ve been tested before they shipped, but something could’ve gone wrong in shipping or something I suppose. I’d say it’s much more likely to be a problem with the connection between the Pi and the Freeplay Zero PCB.

They are the press down GPIO, Thats why I am leaning towered that. There is like a wave pattern in the pins like not all of them are fully making contact. I can post some tomorrow.

Hey SylentSnipe, I'm guessing that there was a copy/paste error on your last post. I am assuming that you meant to post a photo of the pins being a bit too far and then another where they were fixed.
I'll try to get you a couple photos and simple tests to try to determine if it's our board, the connection between our board and the Pi, or the Pi itself.

My apologies yes that's a cop/paste mistake. But the pins are press in. Used the jig and got new pins just in case plus to get another RPZ. But yes please let me know the photos and tests to try. It's not a big deal right now as most I play right now don't use the triggers but it would be nice.
Thank you

I think Andrew has some debugging info (like the photos I mentioned) for this, but he's been rather busy yesterday/today. I'll try to get him to share that with you.
