I'm relatively new to the whole Raspberry Pi scene, and just finished my FPZ build. I was curious if there is a way to fix the aspect ratio of the games I'm playing that I'm just missing. Right now, my NES games are being stretched and it just doesn't look natural to me. Launching a game, I access the configuration, and change it there, but any time I switch to something other than the default, the screen just goes black but there is sound playing. Basically, I'm trying to find a way to pillarbox the games so they are running at the correct width. Thank you in advance for your replies.
edit: I guess I should point out, running the most recent provided RetroPie build, and have tried the aspect ratio on all three of the NES emulators.
