Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on my FreePlay CM3+ handheld build and I’m facing some power issues that I can’t seem to figure out. I’m using a 3.7V 2500mAh Li-ion battery and a BMS board for power management, but the system keeps shutting down after running for about 30 minutes.
At first, I thought it might be a battery issue, so I tested it with a multimeter and the voltage seems fine. The power button seems to be working, but after a short period of use, the system just powers off without warning. It doesn’t matter whether I’m playing games or just navigating the menu; it still happens.
I’ve also checked the connections, and everything seems to be properly wired, but I wonder if there’s an issue with the power regulation circuit or maybe something on the board is shorting out. Could anyone point me in the right direction for troubleshooting this? Maybe someone here has experienced something similar and could offer advice or insights.
I’m new to working with these types of boards and setups, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
