This is the same thing Steam installs whenever you install a new game.

That didn't help. It doesn't seem to install anything.

Sorry, things have been a bit crazy lately, and I haven't had much chance to mess around with this. It would probably work fine on my Win7 laptop, though.

Excellent. It works fine on my Windows 7 X64. Nice work! Anyway, it is about time that there is aother emulator in developing. I hope that the resolution will be correctly soon. It is kind off of the screen, lol.

By the way, maybe you should add pause, slow/fast speed, and joypad supporting as well as online. Smile

I was just thinking that someone needs to make a new NGPC emulator that will run properly on Win 7. Anyway... I can't seem to get any games to launch on it, I'm not sure why. I tried changing the rom to NGPC since that seems to be what the program was looking for, but I was wrong.

That's strange because it works fine on my Win 7 x64 without a problem. Only the problem in this emulator is: Off the screen. This resolution secreen is not fully properly. I hope that the developer will correct the resolution size soon. Smile

Yeah sorry for the (massive) delay guys. My work has been absolutely crazy, 3/4 of the company got dissolved and the lead left so I was appointed "technical lead" at my job. I've been putting a little time into the debugger, looking at how FCEUX does it. There is a lot of work that will need to go into getting this thing fully debug ready, but I'm confident I can do it.

Also yeah, the screen resolution is kinda jacked up because of the Direct9 window I'm using. I'll be fixing that in the next release for sure!

@Cthulhu32,

Take your time. Also maybe you can add cheat code in it as well. Big Grin

Anyway, can't wait for the screen resolution to be correct soon. Big Grin

I promise I'm still working on this (see screenie in attachment). The screen resolution fix is in, but I want to get the debugger to a much better place before I make a public release. You can build it yourself from http://neogpc.googlecode.com/

The debugger is a lot of work, I started with bringing over Ngpcdis.cpp but I have now switched to actually using all of the tlcs900h.cpp functions. The initial functions are easy, but then its the decode functions. Not to mention that some opcodes use registers or memory, so I need to translate to A/WA/XWA when necessary.

It's good to see some progress. Congratulations on 1.0! The debugger looks nice, on the screenshot at least. I'm still having problems running it on my machine. I did mention this before, but this particular emulator is eating up CPU time and memory like crazy. My computer isn't the best by today's standards, but I can still emulate PlayStation games without any major problems, so I'm surprised that this particular emulator is so demanding.

This is definitely looking good. Steady progress is very important. Speed of development isn't nearly so. Keep up the good work!

Still slowly but surely working on this. I've been speaking with a guy who has done some C64 and Amiga demos that wants to put together some kind of a demo. I also am working with some of mic's example code for my test rom, basically to verify every opcode disassembles correctly. I might re-think the MEM vs. Register printing, but I already have breakpoints working so once this step is done, I will be much closer to a fully working debugger.
