configured my wireless mini keyboard and lost the GBA joypad configurations

Hope all is well. I would like to add a wired xbox controller so I can play a few N64 and PlayStation games. How do I  add additional controllers without ruining the GBA joypad configurations. I would greatly appreciate it if you could walk me through this.
