I mean that we're looking into this notion of more options for add-on boards. There currently exists our L2R2/Analog add-on board (https://www.freeplaytech.com/product/fre...-on-board/) but we would like to extend that idea to a more encompassing set of add-ons, if we can get the idea to work.
I would love to see a module (or combination of modules) which add things like an accelerometer, WiFi / Bluetooth interface, or rumble motor. My skill level is just about sufficient to solder a single USB device onto the board, but that’s about the extent of what I can do, hardware-wise. I think that the most “bang for your buck” modules would be ones which are internal and require no finicky shell modification. I’d definitely buy something like that
For people who are completely unfamiliar with soldering, it might be best to just offer a new revision of the CM3 board, or a “sequel” with such features already included.
