Yes, hold please...
Okay. Thank you for holding while I looked up the info.
At the bottom of this document, there is some detail about the fan.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/13ztk...2r9lbuyvvf
Basically, you just need the gpio-fan overlay. Definitely look at that link (above), so you can know how to make sure that file exists.
You can do
ls /boot/overlays/gpio-fan.dtbo
or pop the SD into your computer and see if there's a gpio-fan.dtbo file in the overlays directory of the "boot" drive.
If you need it, get the file from https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/...o-fan.dtbo or read the document linked above for other options (like compiling it yourself on the Pi).
Once the file is there, add one line that looks like this near the bottom of /boot/config.txt, or edit a line that has dtoverlay=gpio-fan if it exists:
dtoverlay=gpio-fan,gpiopin=40,temp=60000
You could also use https://github.com/TheFlav/rpi-fan if you prefer to edit code yourself or something like that.
And, StonyYodelers, I'm sorry that you are having to post several thread, but I _DO_ appreciate the interaction with you. I also really like having all of this info here, because I know that others will find all of it useful. Thanks for your patience and willingness to help.
