NeoGeo emulation

Hey guys I've just build my own freeplay zero thanks to your nice hardware PCB and I'm running successfully Super nintendo, megadrive, gameboy games.
But I've got some trouble to run neogeo games (metal slug NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO).

I'm using this bios version : https://www.emuparadise.me/M.A.M.E._-_Mu...-Geo/15030

But wether I run my games with pifba emulator or lr-fbalpha I'm still stuck in the config screen where I can select emulator or resolution and the only way to get rid of this screen is to reboot the freelay zero.  Sometimes I can hear game sound but the screen is still stuck on configuration. this is really frustrating.

I was wondering which version of neogeo BIOS you are using ? Maybe it will help me to overcome this issue.

I've tried a lot of diffrents neogeo BIOS but none of hem are working properly. I can still hear sound of the game but the sceen is still blocked.
I managed to launch mslug on MAME-liberto but I'd like to run other roms on neogeo emulator if it's possible.

Nobody have tried and/or succeed to emulate neogeo games on freeplay zero ?

I'm running a FreePlay Zero.  I'll vouch for the fact the hardware can do it beautifully!

I have NeoGeo (133 installed and working games) and FBA (51 games installed and working) running just fine.  I'm using piFBA as my emulator.  I had to dl a few bios files to get the right one for NeoGeo (the one from EMUParadise didn't work for me).

Have all components for my Freeplay Zero and will be building mine in a few days, and NeoGeo is definitely one of the systems I want to have working.

Yes it'll be really awesome if you can point us to the right direction because I tried with maybe a dozen of diffrents BIOS for now and none of them are working. I keep trying to find new one but I'll be greatfull to you if you can tell me which is yours.

For those of you at home following along:

Ensure that the BIOS "neogeo.zip" is in same folder as your Neo-Geo Roms.  For some reason this bios doesn't like the typical BIOS folder.  I'm also using piFBA as my emulator.

Where did you place the file, Maritime_Gamer?  For some systems, it goes in the BIOS folder, but for Neo Geo it goes in the same folder as the game ROMs.
