Well, I feel like it won't happen. Here's the quick story.
When we ran the Kickstarter, we had an agreement with the Oh Dear guys. That was solid. When the campaign ended, we had a LOT of work to do.
Our agreement about Oh Deer was that we had the right to use Oh Deer on the Freeplay platform, but we had to do the source code porting work ourselves. We had someone here that came on just to help with that. It was perfect timing for him and us. He wanted to work on it, and we needed the help. He put in a lot of effort, and I helped him with some parts of it.
Unfortunately for us (and fortunately for him), he got a good job offer working on something else he wanted to work on, and it didn't make sense for him to stick around helping with Oh Deer. When he left, it was a bit insurmountable for me to pick back up.
We discussed this with the Oh Deer guys. We fulfilled our deal with them, but we both decided that it didn't make sense to continue the project (which would maybe mean starting over).
Anyway, I'm not saying that it'll never happen, but I have no idea if/when it'll get picked back up again.
