Could you tell me which SD image file you are using?
At the moment, we have these 3 available:
Freeplay_CM3_Test-RetroPie-45_19080201.img.gz - This is a test of the new RetroPie 4.5. I think it's good, but it hasn't been fully confirmed, yet.
Freeplay_CM3_19061802.img.gz - RetroPie v4.4 This image is the latest that is not in testing.
Freeplay_Zero_18032101.img.gz - RetroPie v4.3 We keep this around, because some people prefer v4.3.
