Sound not working new build
#8
Hey bezidebela,

Please try one more thing and then open a support ticket.

Remove the Raspberry Pi Compute Module from the circuit board. Look at the contacts where it inserts into the socket. See if you can tell anything odd. Maybe wipe it with isopropyl alcohol if you have some. Insert the Compute Module back into the Freeplay CM3. Does this change anything?

If not, please proceed to open a SUPPORT ticket at https://www.freeplaytech.com/contact/
Just copy/paste this message of yours in there.
[Hi! I am using the Boxy aluminum shell. I removed the board from the shell and tried it on my mat making sure there were no contacts but the sound still isn't working (won't work through either the speaker or headphone jack). I also tried to load some NES ROMs to just test it without sound but it freezes right after I try to open the NES emulator. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!]
