My first suggestion would be to make 100% sure that the circuit board is perfectly seating down on top of the plastic standoff posts. If there is any plastic holding the circuit board even slightly away from the front of the shell, it can cause this problem.

You could also do something like the attached photos show with a 3D printed part or a tiny rubber band.
