Checking in again to see if any progress has been made with anything as of yet, or if anything has been set in motion, any new ideas for this project.
My CIB Wine Red Swan Crystal got to my contact in Japan and I should have it shortly. Needless to say my WS playing time will go up with that unit. Still love the Final Fantasy edition Color though.
Is there any possibility of making the PCB thinner? I think that would leave us room for a case of sorts.

Thinner PCB is definitely an option, but it's only a "good" option if we have a case/shell to put behind it. Otherwise, of course, it is too loose in the WS.

Dear all
I'm new in the forum from Italy,
I've just received ws flash cart the green one.
I ve some question regarding the flashcart :
Save in game
I know that the flash doesn't support save state, but sometimes happen the normal save on game works and sometimes, after that I restart the console I loose all my save.
Do you have this problem?
Compatibility game
I read the previous reply about compatibility and I saw that One Piece Swan Colloseum works, but not in my case..Why?
Is there some procedure the game (some patch or some procedure) in order to fix this rom?!
By the way I take this opportunity to say THANKS Flashmasta creator, I realize one of my games dream : JUDGEMENT ON WS <3
Regards
Antonino

@Febas
I would guess that the problems you are having are related to EEPROM-based savegames. You would need a patch for those. I'm not sure about your "Compatibility game" question. Maybe someone else can comment on that.
Maybe we can get @Juhn to comment.

I'm having some significant problems getting the Flash Masta software working.
First attempt was with Windows 7 SP1 64-bit (laptop).
The WS Flash Masta refuses to work with any of the USB ports. It won't turn on, Windows never detects it. That means I can't get the Zadig driver thing installed. I even tried disabling driver certificate authentication.
Second attempt was with Windows XP SP3 32-bit (desktop).
EDIT: It was actually XP SP2
The WS Flash Masta actually works on here, I'm able to install "drivers" for it. I also installed the Visual C redistributable package. When I try to run the 32-bit Flash Masta software, Windows says it's not a valid Win32 application. Bull-fucking-shit, it says 32-bit right on the zip file! Does the Flash Masta program only work on Vista and newer?
Nowhere on the download page is it ever specified which of the 4 different USB drivers are required from the Zadig package. There's WinUSB, libusb, libusbk and USB Serial. Which am I supposed to use? I tried libusbk on Windows XP, it seemingly works...
Is there a recommended OS for the software? All it says is Windows, which is not very specific. Should I try Mac OS X instead? Or is 10.6 Snow Leopard not supported?
The WS Flash Masta itself seems very good, excellent build quality, but so far the software is a massive pain in the ass to work with.
EDIT:
Earlier I tried playing the WS Flash Masta anyway, it had a menu with all the slots X'd out. I just assumed it needed ROMs written to it first. Out of curiosity just now, I tried playing each slot, there's actually a couple games still on here. Technically they shouldn't be, but I ain't complaining! I can play some Judgement Silversword and One Piece while I get the software sorted out. Thanks Flavor!

That solved it. I dug out a USB hub, one that supports power input. Now I can use Windows 7 to run the WS Flash Masta software. Very happy now. I don't get why the software is so picky. I guess that's the nature of products still in development. The WS Flash Masta card itself is fantastic though, it makes the Wonderswan so much better. Now I can play almost anything.
I also tried the WS Flash Masta program in XP SP3, it doesn't work there either. I guess this is a Windows 7 or higher program. Does it work with Vista?

Other have said One Piece Swan Colosseum works for them, doesn't for me, it sits at a black screen after the 2002 copyright screen. Any suggestions?
